WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Habitat for Humanity NZ sends teams of volunteers to do building work in Ethiopia annually

• Trips are for four weeks anytime between Mid Sep- to end of Oct

• Trips combine work, tourism and visiting other Humanitarian Organisations

REQUIREMENTS FOR BEING A TEAM MEMBER- Ask yourself these questions…

• Am I willing to serve other people in a way they want to be served?

• Can I live and work as a team member?

• Am I a flexible person? 

• Do I have a reasonable standard of fitness?

• Do I have a willingness to work hard? (No specific construction skills are necessary, although beneficial) 

• I am between the ages of 16-75? (Male or female.  Those under 18 to be supervised by an adult)

COST OF TRIP 

• Between NZ$5500-6,000.00 including international flights 

• Between NZ$3-3,500.00 if flights are sponsored ( for those who genuinely cant afford the full amount)

• Costs subject to final budgeting and exchange rates
